Oscar Awards 2017

The biggest event of Hollywood, the 89th Academy Awards was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on 27th February. Everyone was waiting for this night to know who came out as the best winning the Oscar Awards 2017.

Who won finally?

Now, here is a brief look at the names of some famous personalities, who won the Oscar Awards 2017.

Casey Affleck won the best actor Award for his film ‘Manchester By The Sea’. On the other hand, Emma Stone grabbed the best actress Award due to her breathtaking performance in ‘La La Land’. Also, ‘La La Land’ was declared as the best picture but everyone needs to hold the patience, as there was a mistake again. ‘Moonlight’ won the best picture award. ‘La La Land’ left the stage and made the way for ‘Moonlight’.

One of the Cullinan’s coworkers said “feels very, very terrible” and “is very upset about this mistake”. The Academy even said, “We apologize to the entire cast and crew of La La Land and Moonlight whose experience was profoundly altered by this error.”

Damien Chazelle is the one who won the best director award for his film ‘La La Land’, which took home total six awards on different grounds. ‘Moonlight’ achieved total three awards and the show became a glamorous one with the real stars.

Barry Jenkins and Tarell Alvin McCraney received the award for best-adapted screenplay for the film  ‘Moonlight’.

Kenneth Lonergan achieved the best original screenplay award for ‘Manchester By The Sea’. Alongside, Justin Hurwitz attained the best original score that was really a good judgment.

‘The White Helmets’ got the best documentary shot award by Orlando Von Einsiedel and Joanna Natasegara.

Other Side of the Event

Jimmy Kimmel, the talk show host was the anchor of the event and sad to say the ceremony came out with a bad chaotic end. Overall, the event was a nice one where the real talents got the ultimate gratitude.
