What report says?

According to a recent survey, it’s revealed that there are about 279 fake technical institutes in India, which are playing with future of the students. In the top list, Delhi comes out with 66 colleges offering engineering and other technical courses with a proper authenticated from the University.

The UGC and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) uploaded a list of fake colleges on their website increasing the awareness among people.

A senior official in the report says, “We send the list of unapproved and unregulated technical institutions to concerned state authorities for taking appropriate action against such institutions.”

Other states, which are in the list are like:

  • Uttar Pradesh
  • West Bengal
  • Maharashtra

These states also have a considerable number of fake Universities destroying the careers of students.

How to avoid the risks?

Once, you decide to get admission always go through the details of the institute knowing that you are at the right place. You can even communicate with a counselor if you feel confused how to manage the situation.

Public notices have been published in newspapers for the unapproved institutes and thus you need to get aware of those ensuring that you can easily avoid the risks with fake Universities in India, which would ruin your future.

Last year a notice was published on 1st July where 22 names of institutes were published by UGC, which are fake.
